Dr. Julie St. Amant-Haydel,DNP,FNP-BC, PMHNP, FoundeR
Owner of Prism Quality Care Health and Wellness, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Julie’s accomplishments are credited first to God and family. Her hero is her mom, Gail Fusco, who has been the backbone of her successful journey, and her great-grandmother, Arnette (Nettie) Giles, inspired her to choose this healthcare journey. With a heart devoted to healing and a soul committed to serving God, Julie is a nurse practitioner on a mission to make a difference in the lives of her patients. Guided by my faith, caring for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of others is a divine calling that brings purpose to every interaction.
Throughout her 30 years of nursing experience, she witnessed the transformative power of compassionate care. Each patient she encountered provided an opportunity to reflect on the love of God and extend a helping hand to those in need. Whether it is offering a comforting word, a listening ear, prayer, or expert medical guidance, Julie’s goal is to be a channel of His grace.
Julie’s journey is deeply intertwined with her role as a wife and mother. As she nurtured and supported her two adult sons, Bernard and Geoffrey, she learned that the values of faith, empathy, and perseverance are the most authentic gifts a parent can offer. Their paths may be distinct, but her love for them is unwavering.
When Julie is not in the clinic, you will often find her spending quiet moments in prayer and reflection, seeking guidance from the divine source that fuels her passion for healing. She draws strength from her faith community and cherishes the moments when she can bring the light of hope into the lives of those around her. Embracing the global family of humanity, Julie has also participated in medical missions and outreach programs, bringing healthcare and spiritual support to underserved communities nearby. In every encounter, Julie sees an opportunity to fulfill her ministry and serve God by caring for his children.
Julie’s message is: “Let us connect in our shared faith, service, and healing journey. Your well-being and spiritual growth are of paramount importance to me. Therefore, I thank you for allowing me to be a vessel of God’s love as we navigate this path together.”
